Birth simulation is done when a newly born baby is instantly owned by a couple (adoptive parents) by giving a child their names in his/her birth certificate right after the biological mother gave birth.

Birth simulation is illegal and thus a criminal offense. It violates Republic Act 8552 or An Act Establishing the Rules and Policies on the Domestic Adoption of Filipino Children.

Any person who tampers the birth registration of a child can be penalized under the said law by prison or fine not exceeding P50, 000.

Second, the biological parent has the tendency to get back his/her child later on.

Third, it can also caused problem on the documents of the child especially if that child later on will go abroad and he/she needs to establish his/her identity.

Legal adoption is the right option; it is for the best interest of the child.
